London experienced a spectacular Olympic Games opening....

Came the most awaited by millions of athletes and sports fans around the world. After four years of preparation, anxieties and efforts, conducted the official opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

About 10 000 athletes took part in the ceremony held in the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, east of the capital.

The show amazed those present at the stadium and the millions of viewers around the world witnessed through the telecast. The British government invested 30 million euros in organizing the event which was based on a tour of the socio-economic transformation of England.

The lighting of the Olympic cauldron and the end of the ceremony marked the beginning of 16 days of pure sport, excitement, joy and certainly some disappointments, which will mark the development of the great sporting event of the year
